Nigel is co founder of TIG and a proponent of curating travel experiences by “personalising the ordinary and systemising the extraordinary” Nigel is especially connected to the customer journey with an innovative and creative approach to experience design with a great eye for detail and ideas to surprise and entertain agents, staff, suppliers and customers.

Heidi co-founded Altitude Tours and TIG. With a focus on operations, logistics, finance, customer experience, and company culture. Named New Zealand’s emerging tourism leader in 2023, Heidi’s youth belies her accomplishments, as she helps drives innovation and growth within the TIG group of companies.
Group General Manager
Graham, originally from Ireland, has called New Zealand home since 2011. He has already made significant strides and impact in the New Zealand tourism industry. Graham’s experience, along with his consistent dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences, has solidified his role as a key asset to our group.
Group Marketing Manager
Hanna brings a unique perspective to the team, having grown up in Queenstown, where adventure, tourism, and hospitality are part of the town’s DNA. With a background in marketing spanning various industries, she now channels her expertise as TIG’s Group Marketing Manager, blending her passion for NZ and tourism with her marketing skills to promote the group’s brands.
Key Account Manager
Alia has been an integral part of our team for over 5 years. Originally from the Mornington Peninsula, Australia, she initially brought a wealth of experience from her background in the wine industry, including roles at multiple wineries and eventually as head wine guide for Altitude Tours. Alia has since expanded her expertise to encompass various aspects of the tourism industry, specialising in sales while also serving as a versatile asset across all areas.

Amanda, originally from Scotland, found her home in Queenstown after traveling the world. Even after a decade, she remains struck by the New Zealand’s beauty. As our accounts manager, Amanda ensures the seamless operation of our financial processes. Her attention to detail makes her an essential member of our group, providing crucial support in effectively managing our accounts across our brands.
Group Reservations & Logistics Manger
Tatiana, TIG’s Reservations and Logistics Manager, is originally from a small town in Canada. A lover of adventure, Tatiana has spent many years exploring and working around the world before deciding Queenstown was the perfect place to call home. From hiking in Hawaii and soaking up the sunshine in Australia, to watching the sunrise on Mt Batur in Indonesia, Tatiana has experienced some incredible sights.
Group Fleet Manager
Ben, originally from the UK, has called Queenstown home for over a decade after falling in love with a wonderful Kiwi woman. His vibrant energy and passion for the outdoors are reflected in his local business, Paddle Queenstown. When he’s not out on the lake, you’ll find Ben managing the TIG fleet, ensuring everything runs smoothly and providing seamless tours for guests across all brands, with his unmatched knowledge and enthusiasm!
Reservations & Logistics Team Leader
Gwen, our Reservations and Logistics Team Leader at TIG, hails from Toronto, Canada. After backpacking through Europe and Australia, she made her way to New Zealand for a summer adventure. Over five years later, Gwen is still captivated by the life she’s built in Queenstown. When she’s not at work, she enjoys hiking, biking, and baking. Her travels sparked a passion for helping others experience the beauty of the area, which is why she’s thrilled to be working in the tourism industry with TIG.
Accounts & Logistics Support
Marriah was born and raised in a small town in Washington State, with Mount Rainier right at her doorstep. She visited New Zealand in 2017, fell in love with the country, packed her bags, and has since called Queenstown home for the past eight years. An avid hiker and camper, you’ll often find her exploring local spots like Tobins Track, Paradise, or Moke Lake. With a strong background in hospitality, Marriah enjoys meeting people from all over the world, which inspired her to help others experience the stunning beauty of New Zealand. Her keen attention to detail and passion for smooth operations have made her an invaluable member of the TIG team, where she handles accounts and logistics support.

Originally from Finland, Hanna has always had a love for adventure. Her passion for hiking, Lord of the Rings, and rugby led her to New Zealand. What started as a 9-month backpacking journey has turned into calling Queenstown her new home base. With a background living in tourism hotspots in both Finland and France, Hanna naturally found her place in the tourism industry here in Queenstown. Her diverse experiences and love for the outdoors make her a perfect fit for the team, and she’s excited to help create memorable experiences for visitors to this stunning part of the world.
Reservations & Logistics
Hailing from Scotland, Tamara initially planned to visit New Zealand for just six months, but like many who visit Queenstown, she’s fallen in love with the place and now plans to stay a few years. As part of our Reservations and Logistics team at TIG, Tamara’s dedication and attention to detail shine through in everything she does. When she’s not working, she enjoys balancing her love for pasta bake with a good run.

Shalaka is a familiar and friendly face in the Queenstown tourism scene, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our TIG reservations team. With a background in the local tourism industry, having previously worked at iSite Queenstown, she’s well-versed in all the exciting activities and attractions the area has to offer. Shalaka also enjoyed a brief stint in Te Anau, where she embraced the tranquility of the region, but her passion for the vibrant energy of Queenstown led her to return to her roots in the tourism sector. Energetic, enthusiastic, and always eager to ensure our guests across all TIG brands have a fantastic experience.
Board Member
Andy’s career has been dedicated to developing and operating tourism businesses across various sectors, including adventure, luxury, and accommodation-based ventures. With a wealth of experience, he has been involved with renowned brands such as NZSki, Kawarau Jet, AJ Hackett Bungy, and The Dairy Guest House. As a founder of one of TIG’s brands, Black NZ, Andy’s expertise and knowledge remain an invaluable asset to TIG’s advisory board.

Jonathan’s extensive background in international finance, coupled with his deep involvement in community philanthropy and strategic investments, brings invaluable perspectives and guidance to TIG’s advisory board, enhancing the groups growth endeavours.

Richie is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of commercial business experience. He has significant experience across tourism businesses of all life stages and sizes, both internally as a CFO and externally as a Director and Advisor. Richie is well positioned to help us execute on our long term vision while helping us mitigate our risks along the way.
