At Tourism Innovation Group (TIG), partnerships are central to our success, driving the innovative products we offer across our brands. Our extensive network of collaborations not only enhances the experiences we provide to our guests but also fuels our innovative product development. As we prepare for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 tourism seasons, we’ve been developing new products that continue to deliver exceptional customer experiences, all made possible through these valuable partnerships.

Over the winter, we launched the Barrel Room Wine Tour through Altitude Tours, a product that allowed us to forge partnerships with new operator Ayrburn and establish an exclusive relationship with Peregrine Wines, known for their deep connection to the land and conservation efforts. This collaboration, along with our long-established partnership with Gibbston Valley, has enriched our offerings, ensuring we deliver the best possible experiences to our guests.

At TIG, our partners are more than just collaborations; they are integral to our mission of promoting quality tourism in New Zealand. We carefully select partnerships with operators that align with our core values of sustainability, integrity, and innovation. Together, we aim to create tourism experiences that not only surprise and delight but also contribute positively to our communities.

This commitment is evident in our guided hiking products, which have been refined after our joint venture with Fiordland Tours. Running from October to April, our guided walks combine with adventure activities involving collaborations with local Te Anau businesses for jet boat experiences, boat transfers, and helicopter flights. Additionally, all our tours feature lunch and morning teas supplied from local cafes, underscoring our dedication to supporting local communities.

We have been able to extend our exclusive Ben Lomond offerings through BLACK coming into this summer. Our new Ben Lomond Heli-Hike exemplifies our commitment to offering exclusive, high-quality experiences. This unique adventure, made possible through exclusive access to the working station and partnerships with helicopter operators, allows us to deliver an unparalleled experience to our guests, showcasing how collaboration can elevate an experience to something truly extraordinary.

A very significant partnership is our collaboration with RealNZ, a pioneer in Queenstown and Fiordland tourism and conservation. Together, we are launching Milford Sound Business Class, set to debut in October 2025. This groundbreaking product, introducing a new way to travel to Milford Sound will be a seamless co-branded journey throughout,  a true collaboration made possible through forging partnerships, the TIG way.

At TIG, we truly believe in the power of collaboration. Our relationships with suppliers, operators, and partners are not just a part of what we do, they are the driving force behind our innovation and product development. As we continue to grow and expand our offerings, we remain committed to fostering these valuable relationships, ensuring that every experience we offer is built on collaboration, sustainability, and a shared passion for innovation. By doing so, we empower our guests to explore and be inspired
